Becky takes 3rd place in London Junior Elite
Becky Storrie's excellent season continued with a 3rd place in the London Junior Elite race at the weekend. Becky, who is still only 16yrs old finished in a time of 1:10:01 which was just 35 seconds behind the overall winning time.
Joseph Ricciardi also had a great race, competing in the same event, and finishing 20th in a very competitive field in a time of 1:05:49. Andrew Nash, the current Island Champion, raced in the Olympic distance event and finished an excellent 8th in category in a time of 2:01:33. Great experience for all of them to race draft legal with elite competition.
Paul Swindale and Mario Ricciardi were also taking part, Paul in the Olympic distance age group event and Mario in the Sprint distance race. Thousands of competitors take part in this event, which makes Paul's 2nd in Age Group and 39th overall a fantastic achievement (out of something like 3500). Still only in his 2nd season of triathlon, Mario will also have been delighted with his 33rd place in Age Group and 360th overall.
